What were those destroyers of the Royal Navy in 1940 that evacuated many British subjects from Calais and Boulogne?
It is noteworthy that HMS Venomous, like other Royal Navy ships, was a small organized social order, a crew of MEN that were saving other MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN from a disaster brought about by a totalitarian state, aiming at the suppression of liberty. I owe my liberty today to such a crew of men.
